REQUEST FOR NOMINEES
2020 Officers of the Florida Crown Region
The Florida Crown Region of the Porsche Club of America is seeking nominees for the following positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
If you are interested in serving in one of these positions, please prepare a biography by October 21, 2019, consisting of no more than 250 words, describing your relevant background and experience and why you feel you are
qualified to hold the office that you are seeking. Send this information to the Election Chair, Chris Hoyt, at hoytc@bellsouth.net no later than October 21, 2019.
By November 4, 2019, there will be a finalized slate of candidates and their biographies for the upcoming year, which will be submitted to the membership via email for their vote. The membership will have until December 2, 2019, to submit their vote via email, or they may contact Chris Hoyt, Election Chair, with their vote. They must be a member in good
standing of PCA, and provide their full name and PCA membership number for their vote to be counted. The results of the election will be published electronically no later than December 31, 2019.

A Call to the PCA FCR Membership
In December this year, I will have been acting Secretary on your PCA FCR Board for almost two years. I have been fortunate to have served on several non-profit boards over the years, and I must say working with this FCR Board has been the most fun. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this crazy yet extremely devoted group. Rest assured, every member of your FCR Board is dedicated and focused to bring you the most enjoyable driving and social events possible. Events such as the monthly dinner socials, the Concourse events, Drivers Education, the Autocross, Dine & Drives and Christmas Party, all take significant planning and effort to be successful.
And now, I ask you to become involved. I believe that rotating “new blood” from the membership onto the Board is essential to insure a Club continues to grow and evolve. For the upcoming year, we need nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer from the membership. I look forward to stepping aside, and assisting a new Secretary to insure he or she gets up to speed quickly.

He is asking for a short biography describing your background, experience and why you feel you are qualified to hold the office you are seeking.
