Florida Crown Region Cruise-in, “Hot August Nights” August 18th
August 18, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Florida Crown Region invites you to our annual Hot August Nights cruise-in on Saturday evening August 18, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at SONIC at the corner of SR13 (San Jose Blvd for you Duval County types) and Fruit Cove Rd (aka Race Track Road if you are heading north or south on SR13 or west from Phillips Highway) in Northwest Saint Johns County. If all that is too confusing just Google SONIC locations in zip code 32259.
1500 Fruit Cove Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32259
Bring your spouse and/or best friend and your Porsche and let’s fill the lot with Germany’s finest cars and Americas most enthusiastic sports car owners. Have a shake, a burger, fries, or a malt or just about anything else you might want (note: they do not serve tofu or kale, and probably very little is gluten free, but you can ask).
Hang out with your friends, have a fun meal, and show off your wheels!
Dress is Florida summer resort casual, or your most recent Porsche paraphernalia. DE weekend shirt? Tail-of-the-Dragon shirt? 19 WINS shirt? Bring it on! And don’t forget to wear your Hunzikers! THIS is THAT time!
No pre-sign-up. No registration fee. No quizzes. No free anything .
If you absolutely positively think you need more information than this, contact Mark A. Laszlo at (904) 534-9928 or Varyak@aol.com. Leave a message. I’ll get back to you. Maybe.
FAQ 1: Yes you may bring your friends and family along… as long as they are not choking up the parking lot in their GMC SUV or whatever. And IF your Porsche is hors de combat and you bring your “other” car, PCA membership card may be required for identification – just sayin’ – it’s a cruise-in for cryin’ out loud, not a trip to Publix, although one is right behind the SONIC and you are free to park your “other” car there if we fill our spaces with Porsches.
FAQ 2: I expect the weather to be exactly what the name of the event says. We cruise rain or shine, and regardless of the “feels like” temperature.
