Have you always wondered what it’s like to drive your car on a racetrack? Do you assume you have to make a bunch of modifications to your car so you can go out on track? Do you think everyone else has lots of experience, so you’re worried about being the only beginner? Is it even safe?

This session is all about debunking HPDE myths and providing lots of useful information to help you make the leap from street to track!

Please join John Pellerin, FCR HPDE Chief Driving Instructor, and Michelle Mullen, instructor at The FIRM and FCR HPDE Registrar, along with owner Shawn Welk and his team of experts at Bavarian Rennsport, for a morning of information and camaraderie to learn all about FCR’s HPDE event taking place January 17-18, 2026 at Roebling Road Raceway near Savannah, Georgia.

We’ll take the mystery and intimidation out of what an HPDE is, explain how to register and prepare, and what it’s like to participate and drive on track. You’ll also be able to ask questions and chat one-on-one with other HPDE enthusiasts.

The goal for the morning is to ensure you have the facts around HPDE events, get your questions answered, and consider signing up for the January event.
