The Porsche Club departed Jacksonville on Saturday morning, the 22nd, and arrived at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo hotel for our first evenings stay, cocktails to wash out the trail dust, and then on to dinner. I, (Rusty), drove over and met them from my GA mountain home, stopping to watch rafters on the Ocoee river for a while too. Sunday morning it was on to Bowling Green, KY to have lunch at the Corvette Museums restaurant before taking a tour of the Museum itself. Monday morning we took an interesting tour of the Corvette manufacturing plant (sorry, no cameras permitted in the plant). Then on to the Corvette Track for a little fun time. After a night in Nashville, it was on to Fort Payne, AL for a fun filled day at the Desoto National Park. The final stop of this years tour was the new Porsche facility in Atlanta for a quick lunch and tour before heading South one last time for home.
