Porschetoberfest 2026
Lederhosen, Laughter, and Lots of Porsches.
Last weekend’s Porschetoberfest brought together all the ingredients for a great Florida Crown Region event: beautiful Porsches, scenic roads, good food, friendly competition, and plenty of camaraderie.
The day kicked off with a spirited rally through Northeast Florida, where participants tested their driving, trivia knowledge, and perhaps their German language skills. Some teams proved quite fluent. Others discovered that ordering a pretzel is about the extent of their German vocabulary.
After the drive, members gathered to enjoy traditional German fare, refreshing biers, lively Bavarian music, and the opportunity to share stories from the road. The festive atmosphere made it easy to forget that Florida’s version of fall still feels suspiciously like summer.
Of course, no Porschetoberfest would be complete without the annual Best Dressed competition. Once again, our members did not disappoint. Lederhosen, dirndls, Bavarian hats, and enough plaid to make Munich proud were on full display throughout the day.
A special thank you to our Rally Masters, Terry and Cathy Sopher, for organizing another memorable event, and to everyone who participated, volunteered, dressed for the occasion, and helped make the day a success.
From the first driver’s meeting to the last farewell, Porschetoberfest showcased everything that makes Florida Crown Region special. The roads were fun, the food was excellent, and the friendships were even better.
The photos below capture many of the day’s highlights. Enjoy the gallery, relive the memories, and see if you can spot your Porsche, your rally team, or that friend who took “Best Dressed” just a little more seriously than everyone else.
Because any event that combines Porsches, pretzels, and polka music is bound to create stories that will be told for years to come.
