Welcome Florida Crown Region.  The FCR Board is excited to announce our first social of the year.  The annual Drive and Dine to Jekyll Island Club is set for Sunday November 1st.  The Sunday Lunch at the Island Club is considered one of our “Premier” outings so don’t wait to sign up and get this on your calendar.  

For this year, a buffet is out of the question; however, our gracious hosts at the Jekyll Island Club is offering a hot plated lunch with an entrée selection from the following three (3) choices:​​

OPTION 1:  GEORGIA SHRIMP AND GRITS

Logan Turnpike Grits, Andouille Sausage and Low Country Cream

OPTION 2:  PETITE FILET MIGNON

Roasted Mushrooms & Herbs, Classic Red Wine Sauce, Chef’s Choice of Vegetable

OPTION 3:  CHICKEN ASIAGO

Herb & Asiago Cheese Crusted Sautéed Chicken

Rolled Capellini & House Pomodoro Sauce, Chef’s Choice of Vegetable

We will meet at the Lowe’s parking lot across the street from the Cracker Barrel Restaurant behind Regency Square Mall for a 9:00 am departure.  Our planned drive will take us through the back roads of North Florida and South Georgia arriving at Jekyll Island and the Island Club.  We will have our reserved parking on the lawn which sets up a great photo op.

We have Our Own Private Room again at the Island Club for this fabulous event. The Jekyll Island Club adheres to all social distancing guidelines and we will be seated at large tables with social distancing protocol(s) in place.

A direct result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic environment that requires as hands-off approach to staff and participant interaction and maintain social distancing requirements at events, ClubRegistration.net has enabled the ability to sign waivers electronically. This provides participants a contactless means to register for an event and pre-sign waivers and avoid long lines at the front-gate and registration table.   Detail instructions to all members is being sent under separate email.
