Let’s gather for lunch at Corky Bell’s in Palatka!  FCR members Mitch and Bobbie Weller have arranged for lunch out on the covered deck overlooking the St. Johns River.  Great menu and drinks available.  Parking is prime too.

Afterwards, Mitch has invited the group back to his garage where he has recreated a 1950’s-era Texaco station complete with authentic parts – filters, fuses, bulbs, belts, etc., as well as vending machines and a phone booth.  It’s an amazing collection of memorabilia! There’s a Ford Model A to see as well.

There are plenty of scenic routes to take along the St. Johns River from Jacksonville.  Plan on gathering at 9:30 am so we can park, chat, avoid the crowds and be seated at 11:00 am.
